Lipton Diet Iced Tea mix
Beverages; they are the downfall of many dieters (I assume). Now, I despise diet sodas, but they are much better to drink since they have so few calories (thank you, Capt. Obvious). They also lack the one thing that makes me want to drink soda: good taste.
So, I cut out the soda (well, Pepsi, but if one were to create a pie chart of the different brands of soda I have consumed over my life Pepsi would account for at least 95% of it). Instead of drinking soda I’m drinking iced tea. I am sure it is better for me, but if quaffed in big enough quantities you’re back to square one (in which case I might as well be drinking Pepsi).
Therefore I thought I would give Lipton Diet Iced Tea mix a whirl, and shockingly it doesn’t suck. So that’s what I’ll be drinking at home (and water, of course).

Cutting out soda is almost mandatory these days. I rarely if ever drink it, and have also eliminated many of my favorite juices, due to the plague which is High Fructose Corn Syrup (it’s in EVERYTHING, I swear to god…).
Although my father has lost weight by switching to iced tea, I still prefer my juices, so when I’m not using my own juicer at home, I buy Ceres Fruit Juices>, which are all natural, no anything added.

There’s too much sugar in just about every drink out there. Your safest bet… look at the number of calories and sugars in each one. You’ll never go wrong. There are some diet sodas out there that are pretty good nowadays tastewise, (although I question the long term effects of some of todays sweeteners) I recommend going out to the store and buying one of EACH of the newest diet sodas and try them and mark which ones are bearable and which ones you never ever will try again. I’m a big fan of Vanilla Coke Zero.

BTW - so you can have your iced tea to go (and not just at home) - these are sized for the typical single serve dasani (or such) bottle - &/or you can use it with the water-fountain water at work. I saw it while in my grovery store and thought I remembered this post.

If you want, I have the equivalent for the Crystal Light iced tea - I can give you one if you’d want to try it - but I think it’s the peach iced tea, which isn’t to everyone’s liking
